Thrive rhymes with survive--that's my word for 2022. At my age, just waking up is something to be thankful for! Diet is so important, whatever one's condition. We eat mostly fruit and vegetables from the garden, whole grains (we also bake our own bread), rarely eat red meat, don't eat carbs every other day and always limit sugar and salt. I don't know what else we can do. There is no way we can live without wine, but usually if we have wine we share half a bottle one day and finish it the next. (We sometimes fall off the wagon, though! That bottle is so tempting!) Thanks for sharing your post.
