The man is rarely coherent. You have read him; he has obviously not read you. His pedantic prose is fuliginous, obtuse, like reading a technical journal translated badly into English from ancient Greek.

He could use a course in basic English and should memorize Elements of Style. You are wasting your time trying to reason with him.
