Nice story. Reading the comments I am surprised so few peple knew about the sources of (non-chemical) fertilizer. I remember traveling in Germany one autumn and seeing huge loads of manure being destributed on the farmlands and plowed in. Smelled terrible but by spring resulted in great crops!
