It’s a Dogs’ Life
Six word photo story, freestyle
--
You can look, but don’t touch.
I came across this beach scene in Rincón, Puerto Rico, some time ago. Whatever the dogs were saying (or thinking), the woman was not having any part of it. If you are going to be homeless (as these strays may have been), I doubt you could find a better time or place for it than on a tropical island!
Note:I wrote this for Mary Chang Story Writer’s wonderful Six Word Photo Story Challenge publication here on Medium, but it was (rightfully) rejected. I forgot (blame senility) that her site’s photos can’t have anyone in them except the writer — with very few exceptions. The person in the photo is unrecognizable, but rules are rules! I had fun imagining many things the dogs might have been thinking, but decided to keep this on an adult level!
