Insightful read, Tre. At first I was amused--how can someone less than half my age be concerned about aging? You want to know about aging--I quipped to myself--ask me. 80 was my watershed year, until then I was comfortable in my palace. In the last year, especially, those walls have been cracking! I have self-examined and am dealing with the changes. But the rest of your post showed me the error of my ways: every age can be critical and each has its challenges.. You met (or are meeting) yours with knowledge and fortitude. It has inspired me to be more proactive toward mine. Thank you for sharing this.
