I am an artist and photographer who lost sight in his right eye to glaucoma a few years ago. At first I despaired but soon noted that things had not changed but improved. I spent years interpreting three-dimensional views in two. It may be an illusion, but I think I see more efficiently now--I see possibilities for interpretation and reject tangles, as in your example!
