I am almost as old as you are and empathize-but in lower case! I sometimes come across something good I have written and have no memory of having written it. I am even impressed (so much of what I have produced recently would go in the trash bin—if I can remember where it is! Seriously, I have less problem reading and writing on Medium than I do following a conversation or remembering the names of the people who are mentioned in it. Fortunately, we hardly ever have anyone to talk to and Chiqui and I have memorized all the stories we have shared for the past 62 years. I am ambivalent about whether I miss having visitors, friends , or social interactions. I wish I missed them! My most interesting conversations tend to be with one of the medical practitioners whose names I never remember.
